Welcome to my fitness blog!

Over the next month, and hopefully far beyond, I'll be regularly updating with details on my current struggle to maintain a proper workout schedule. For about a year now, I've made almost no progress because of my glaring inconsistency, but no more!

This blog should help hold me accountable and help me see my progress as I go. Each day, I'll post exactly what exercises I have done, and any other information that might be useful. For the first while, probably this entire first month or two, I'll be focused almost exclusively on strength gains. I'll probably start posting daily diet when I've made enough progress to start focusing specifically on fat loss, and then continue that trend into future bulk segments.

At the end of each week, I'll weigh myself on a fancy schmancy medical scale at my gym, like this one:

I'll also post photos each week of my physical changes. There probably won't be a lot to see at first, but I've got some fat to lose and a lot of muscle to gain, and I can't wait to watch that happen.

Thanks for reading, and I hope you all stick with me!

  1. Good luck! Just remember, if you see weight gain initially DON'T BE DISCOURAGED!!! Muscle is a lot more dense than fat, if you're gaining but don't feel fatter, it's probably just muscle. In order to slim down and gain strength, you need to add cario to help burn off the fat! Drink tons of water! It'll up your energy and give your muscles what it needs and help combat the burning. I wish you the best!

    1. I've been trying to do this off and on for over a year now, so I know about initial gains being a little deceiving. My main issue has just been sticking with something. I've had about 5 false starts over the past couple years, and I'm really just sick of it.

I work out and start seeing results in a month or two, then something really small happens to get in the way of my routine, and I give up completely. It's got to stop, and this is how I'm hoping to do that.

      Thanks for the encouragement! <3
